Yesterday Bella was released from cardiology care after one last look see and big hugs from her cardiologist who told us not to come back (she had open heart surgery to patch a hole in her heart on her first birthday and she just turned six). We are so thankful that she was expertly cared for by really fun people and that she is fully recovered. It is a good day for us all.
I have been walking around all day letting out huge sighs, thank goodness this long road led us here.
