I have a bunch of old magazines that I'd like to use in a craft project, but I really don't have any inspiration. The magazines have lots of great photography (Martha Stewart, Country Living, Grit, etc.) and I'm going to clip out any articles or recipes that caught my eye, but what to do with the rest? Any thoughts?

Leave them in places with waiting rooms, a few at a time.

That's a nice suggestion, I may just do that with some of them.

Use the images you clip to decoupage a serving tray, placque or anything else that's not nailed down! It is sooo much fun!!

I use old magazines to cut out sayings, photos, borders, etc. for scrapbooking - lots of really neat finds if you use your imgination!

You could cut up the unwanted portions into strips and use them for a papier mache project!

I cut out the images I like out of all my mags and mail order catalogs and put them in a shoe box. Then, when I have to mail a box, I glue the images over any old bar codes or markings on the box like a collage and then cover the images with clear package wrapping tape so they don't get caught in the machinery in transit. It makes the box special for the recipient - most of my friends keep their boxes to use as storage instead of just throwing them away.

That's a cool idea, Sheri!
