I was so inspired by Sherone posting the So Long as there are Homes poem, that I wanted to share a quote with all of you. I heard it the other day, and it reminded me of all the dear farmgirls:

A house does not rest on the ground, it's rests on the woman.

It just seemed so fitting for us. And very, very true.

A person is a success if they get up in the morning and get to bed at night and in between does what they want to do. Bob Dylan

"A man works from sun to sun, but, a womens work is never done." your quote is going to be a new favorite in my kitchen, thanks.

Amen!
These two quotes are so true.
Marly

"It's only when we truly know and understand that we have a limited time on earth- and that we have no way of knowing when our time is up- that we will begin to live each day to the fullest, as if it was the only one we had." Elisabeth Kurler-Ross

The saying I quoted was on a ceramic plate in my Grandmas kitchen, I always loved it, when she passed it went to me and hangs in my kitchen now.
