I'm a lil new to this...but I have contacted several chapters in florida to belong and I never get a response... I have noticed that the northern states always seem to have better luck at these things. Is it that they just don't meet or no longer there? I sometimes wish I was in real farm country!!

Yup, some sign up to be chapter leaders and for whatever reason ( life) they never get around to it. SOrry you are experiencing that. I would encourage you to start a chapter and invite your friends, once one is going and active it doesnt usually take to long for it to grow. http://www.maryjanesfarm.org/Chapters/ you will be so glad that you did. I would also encourage you to check out the sisterhood....http://www.maryjanesfarm.org/farmgirl-sisterhood/ it is a great way to learn new things and to earn badges in the process.
