of the grumpies.
Lately here, I've either been grumpy, panicky, or ready to just give it all up.
Is this a part of pregnancy or Im I headed to the looney bin in the turnip truck??
Any natural ways to ease these? Like I said I'm pregnant so some herbs are not baby friendly and I'm on a super make the penny squeal budget so if its not kinda on the cheap its not going in my shopping cart....lol
I dont ask much do I..;)

hugs

Jessie

ive not been pregnant to tell you if this is part of it or not. i know when i get the grumps though reading is good for me. or anything distracting for that matter. mostly anything away from people. cause even the most well intentioned people can just add fuel to your fire. then you feel like you never get rid of them.

its like recharging a battery. its better if you take it out and put in the recharger then to chrage it while using it.

Get up and move! It is almost impossible to be depressed if you are outside walking, or moving. Little baby would like it too.. & TA DA!! It's FREE!

Yup! It is totally part of being pregnant sometimes! Get lots of sunshine and light and if you can try to get a sublingual B vitamin. Especially B12. It's about $3 at Wally world and tastes like cherries. It really helps. Take warm baths and make sure you get "me" time with a favorite book or something. *hugs*

I agree with alee, get some down time to yourself. you just need to unwind sometimes and breath deep and relax. Everything will work out ok and you will feel better...

You'll be fine, my world is filled with anxiety and panic everyday.....I'm here to say I'm more sane than most :-p even when I don't feel it. You're prob more in tune with things and more sensitive. HUMOR fixes it! Find something to laugh about and you'll see it alleviates it. Trust me! :) Good luck!!! xo

during my pregnancies and especially after, while carrying around yodeling little ones who wont sleep and getting sooo anxious and mad! I started listing off things I was thankful for. the list comes real slow at first, when I'm real mad and ready to do something rash, like throwing something. but I just keep listing things, like...
i have a great husband
a beautiful baby
a roof over my head
things in the fridge
all my teeth
i can walk without pain
i can see
trees
electric lights so I'm not tripping while walking this baby around

it can be hard, so I get creative. and after doing that for a bit, I'm WAY calmed down. I'm a firm believer that thankfulness breeds joy. that's why those two ideas are so linked in the bible. like: rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. - 2 Thess 5:16-18

Oh Jessie, I had a hard time with emotions while I was pregnant too. You'll be ok. 'normal' Jessie will return one day, never fear! But in the meantime, just list off all the beautiful, wonderful things in your life and you'll be able to smile more often.

whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. - phil 4:8

praying for you,

Heather Ann
