I can't seem to get the thing lit. I have never had this problem in the past. I put a call into the gas company because it doesn't seem to have any gas going to it. (I don't smell gas when I try to light it.) They told me I should have the maitenance man of the park I live it to check it out. They said there could be dirt built up in there. Yeah I think I'll find Jeff in a little bit. I wouldn't worry about it, but it's supposed to get down to 47 tonight. That's just a little chilly.

For sure for sure Tina! That's why I'm watching for Jeff to come back down the road. He needs to stop in and pick up my rent check anyhoo.

The furnace is up and going. The problem wasn't with the furnace at all. It was the operator-- muah. Imagine that
I swear the label on the furnace said to shut off all electricity to the furnace. I thought, "well I'll just shut it off at the breaker. That'll do it." Then Jeff got here and informed me that it has to have some juice or it won't light. I'm still scratching my head on this one, but ok whatever. He had it lit in less than 2 minutes once we flipped the breaker back on. Soemdays I feel like such a dope.

I am glad it was nothing major. Now curl up in a warm house with a cup of tea and a good book and relax this evening. Hmmmm, maybe I need to take my own advice.lol

I would asume that it has an electronic igniter and a thermostat, those both need electricity.
