Good Morning Sisters, I have just skimmed thru the posts here and the PDF certainly sounds like a super idea. I have been slowly working on some earning some badges. I keep all my Farmgirl stuff in a 3 ring notebook as well.

Rene - I did the same thing with the windows cut and paste thing and the binder! That was the first thing I did when I joined last year...I'm a little anal too! I think that's so funny! But a REAL little reference would be nice, so all the new girls don't have to do that!

I can't wait for the pdf to be available. I was actually going to slowly copy and paste the badges into word and put them into a three ring binder, but this would surely save lots of time.

Okay, I feel seriously low-tech now....I had just been copying the requirements down into a spiral notebook, and then adding notes on what I was doing underneath. I agree, though, some sort of a badge book or binder or something would be handy. I tend to love to read things like merit badge handbooks - even when I'm feeling icky and don't have the energy to actually get up and *do* anything, I like to read the requirements and see which ones I could do, and figure out how I'm going to do them.

I've been searching the website and am not finding the pdf. Does anyone know if it's available yet and/or have a direct link to it? Thanks

I did the 3-ring binder as well. I bought my momma a membership and put together a little *farmgirl* package of her as a Christmas gift. Complete with the little farmgirl magnets! Target as some adorable recycled binders with pretty little flower prints. Or you can go on ebay and there is this guy that sells recycled kraft paper binders in packs of 10 that you could decorate yourself. I want to say it was like $30 maybe? I love mine because I put the date and all the *qualifying* info & pics with description so I can remember how I earned my badge!

That is a neat idea. I've started a MJF notebook already and adding the badges to it would not be a problem. I actually bought a 3 ring binder notebook that has a sleeve on the front cover and I slipped my Farmgirl membership certificate in it.

I found the pdf file at the top of the Badge Information page (right side, top) and downloaded it from there. It looks like it is self-serve now. |

I would love that! I seem to have troubles every time I try to do a badge! It's a little discouraging. I would definitely love a small manual.
