Helllllpppp!
I have seedlings in the house. Some are doing just great, others ok and yet others still, not so hot.
But today I see that my dill went just overnight from nice and hearty to skinny stems and flopped. Am I watering too much or too little? Not enough sun? I don't want the rest of my seedlings to go ker-poof!
How do you tell how much to water?

It's not enough light. Do you have a grow light you can put over them? I hang mine 2" from the top of the plants so that they grow without stretching. Adding a breeze will help, or running your hand over them several times a day will work. You want the stems to move so that cell walls are stimulated. This increases strength in the cell walls. Imagine what they'd get for stimulation if they were growing outside and try to duplicate that.

When you water you want to give them enough that a little water runs out the bottom, and no more. You'll promote root growth if you can water from the bottom. Don't keep them constantly wet. Damp is good, wet is too much.
