I have rearranged some of the pairs for this swap because some of the farmgirls who originally signed up are apparently no longer participating. IF YOUR NAME IS *NOT* ON THIS LIST, YOU HAVE THE SAME PARTNER AS ALWAYS!!!!
DIRECTIONS FOR THIS SWAP ARE DIFFERENT!!!! Your name is on the left side. The recipient of your tote is on the right. You are not swapping with each other. Sorry for all the confusion  . Thought this might be a way for us to get to know more of our Farmgirl sisters.
The tote will be something other than the "regular" bags that you can buy for a buck from the grocery/discount store. It will be one that you make yourself or a special purchased one, something cool that you would like to have for yourself. Please include a small "tuck" with the tote (don't exceed $10, please). There is no "theme" for this swap. Some ideas are Superbowl, Valentine's Day, Easter, St. Patrick's Day, Spring, Daytona 500 or whatever else you'd like to work out with your buddies.

Hey, Farmgirls! Thanks for your interest in this swap. I don't have any preconceived notions about a tote theme. That time of the year it could be spring, Valentine's Day, Easter or whatever you and your partner(s) work out.
I'm going to work this like another swap I was involved in and put all your names in a jar as they come in and then a couple of days after Halloween I'll draw them out, pair you up and post a list.
If you have any questions or suggestions, let me know! Off to the BBQ cook-off in Pasadena - volunteering my time this week-end and don't know if I'll have time to be online. So if you don't hear from me for a couple of days - don't worry - I'll be back soon.

Karrieanne you have it. A few days after the final sign up date the organizer will post partners; then you contact your partner via email to exchange addresses; then the swapping begins. Just have your tote to your partner by the mail date.

hello, all. I am thinking about doing this but, what is a shopping tote? is it like those ones that you can pick up at the store? Do they have to have a bottom to them? Any imput back would be great! I like swaps and would enjoy doing this one too

I have a pretty straw tote that is decorated with ribbon, etc. that I use when I go to antique stores, farmers market or to yard sales.
