I posted a picture of some leaves I framed last year. Its fun to do, and the ideas for backgrounds and what else you can add are endless. I maybe should have posted this under the NIFFTY THRIFTY site, these would make nice gifts.

This is still one of my favorite things to do! I can't wait till Violet gets old enough to do this with me...some of my fondest memories are when we lived in West Virginia, and Mom and I would go to the state park to collect leaves for pressing. We would always cut them out after pressed, and string them to hang in the window for daddy when he came home.

Yours are so pretty, Nancy, but then, all you do is pretty!

Brenda,
The back ground is some toile design paper that I had. I don't think I spelled that right but ya know what I mean.

Nancy Jo, the leaves look so nice on the toile, you are full of so many good ideas. I always press the leaves and then wonder what to do with them. It's time for me to go foraging in my barn for some old picture frames....

oh how pretty! and thrifty! I know the perfect person to give this too for Christmas! Not too mention how cute they will look in little thrift store frames. I'm always looking for interesting small things to hang on my walls, I love clusters of random things hanging on walls and this is right up my alley! Thanks! Now I'm going to have to keep a look for those leaves, because here in So. California leaves that change color aren't all that easy to find.
