Short and stout, here is my Handel here is my spout. When I get all steamed up hear me shout. Then tip me over and pour me out.

Tea has been on my mind a lot lately, not sure if it is the cooler evenings or the great conversations with friends that seems to happen over a cup of tea. But, I thought I would post pictures of some of my favorite tea pots.

Oh my gosh Rene! You are so funny! I have a pure white "plain" tea pot and then I have a asian tea pot (white with blue flowers) and a bamboo handle! How fun!

Teapots! Aren't they beautiful. I love seeing your collection, and look gforward to seeing more. Most of my teapots are still packed up in the barn , I believe. That is the danger with a barn if you have no animals to fill it. Teapots just represent home to me, tea by myself or tea with friends. The first one is just so sweet! Thank you for sharing your photos...

I like the idea of showing our tea pots off. I don't have many but I do love the ones I have. I'm just not sure how to put a picture on this site. Teach me and I'll happily show mine off, after my DH leaves on this trip tonight.

Hope all your days are Sunnydays.

hey Diane,
open an account (no cost) with photo bucket....then upload pics from your computer onto photobucket. then bring your curser over onto the picture you want & go to 'img' to copy into this forum, do a copy & then come back here and do a paste....oh I almost forgot befor doing that make sure you have your pictures sized to a med size other wise they will come up 'ginormus'!
I am looking forward to seeing your teapots.

Rene: wonderful teapots. I love them as well. My mother used to make tea with 4 teabags to the pot! ugh. I like "calico tea". An elderly farm woman told me to call it that. You only steep it shortly so it doesn't get dark. You need a silver one for your collection. Thanks for sharing.

Marcy Jo~ Maybe that is "why" I like them so much... LOL
Bonnie~ I like the light teas too. I dont like them to strong. Although, I found a new one that is vanilla flavored and I do like it stronger....

I love tea! It is my beverage of choice. I have lots of teapots and teacups, but most are in a box in the attic as my new kitchen is limited on cupboard space.
I recently got a Brown Betty, made in England, of course, that I love. It has a great shape, plus it retains the heat really well.

For tomorrow and its needs I do not pray, but keep me, guide me, love me, Lord just for today.
