Let's honor in memory those who died, the heros who worked there and their families.

Don't take "baby steps" for the distance they cover but to go within reach of life's magic.

Just as soon as we're willing to give up our freedoms, the terrorists win. I'm not about to lose my privacy and rights as an American citizen to the cowards of 9/11 who are still walking this earth and thumbing their noses at us.

How beautiful a day can be when kindness touches it. -G. Elliston

Hubby and I paused for a moment of silence and then recited together psalm 23. It's been our "thing" since 9/11 and we always try to do it around the times of the planes crashing.

I have an American flag outside my front door. It is always there. I love seeing my flag,
a constantreminder of my freedoms at others expense. I am grateful, very grateful. Today, I look at it and remember, remember the everyday, ordinary citizen who lost their lives that day just because they were American. I prayed for their families, I got choked up. A solemn day to remember that we better not drop our guard, ever. That we better do things right so that we will never have to regret what we have done. May God truly bless our country.

For tomorrow and its needs I do not pray, but keep me, guide me, love me, Lord just for today.

I think we need to remember also all the lives lost of folks in the towers who weren't Americans and whose countries have also come to our aid in battling the terrorists. There are many! God Bless the USA and every country who lost loved ones and who have helped in battling Osama and his cohorts.

I don't understand why our country has not made this day a National Day of Rememberance. So many lost their lives from our country and others. We need to remember every year what happened and what can happen if we are not vigilant.

I keep a candle burnng all night.

It's one of those LED's.

Changed out the batteries Thursday so it would burn bright for Friday

This has been in the window since we have been at war and won't be remove'd 'till this mess is over.
