| We just had a tree removed and now I have a very nice, sunny place for a garden yet it is right up to the house. Will it attract critters (moles, mice, the kind I don't like) by being close to the house? Any suggestions and/or websites I can reference will be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Sara |

I have my kitchen garden 15 feet out my door, it is a raised bed, and I've never had any problems with it atracting rodents, and its been there for 30 years.

I have had gardens right up against the house, too, without a problem. If you're worried about it, though, maybe just checking the foundation on that side of the house to make sure you have no gaps or cracks anywhere that rodents can get into would be enough.

You will need to check the sun level too. If the sun reflects off the house and into the garden it might be to much for the some of the goodies to take.
