fresh garden tomatoes with cottage cheese. I usually add sea salt and fresh pepper and a little chopped fresh basil or chive blossoms...heaven.

When I was a kid my mom always told me I could have anything I wanted for supper for my birthday - my choice was always a hamburger, french fries and corn on the cob!!!!!!!!!!! I'm 54 now, and this is still my favorite meal!

My homemade veggie soup and a cheese salad sandwich. NO, my chilli. No Mashed potaotes with white gravy or maybe biscuits with that gravy. OK goulash. No, bacon and tomato sandwich. Heck, I don't know. It would be a lot easier to tell what I don't like the most. Breaded Tomatoes! |

Stuffed peppers. I always said if I was stranded on a desert island, the one food I would want to have is stuffed peppers.

Mom's gone now, but I want her meat loaf, scalloped potatos and peas. Has been my favorite meal for over 50 years. |

I don't think I could possibly name ONE food that is my favorite above all others. There are just so many wonderful things to eat.
HOWEVER - Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Frosting is probably what I would request if I were on death row. LOL!!!
And Coffee, lots and lots of GOOD coffee.

oh, man, what a topic! food is my favorite... i'm a food junkie and consider myself a foodie. it's so hard to pick a favorite, but i suppose i'm still in love with any mexican food, especially enchaladas, tamales, and chile rellenos.
but my homemade mac n' cheese is one of my new favorites.
also bratwurst, mashed potatoes, tirimisu, cheesecake, homemade waffles, oi, the list goes on and on!!!
Lorie-do you have any good advice for perogie making? i'm planning on trying my hand at it this winter....
