That is our weather . I have the "weatherbug" on my PC, and the daily forcast for a week now has been, hot, dry and smokey. I can handle the hot and dry, but the smoke is really getting to all the people having to breathe it everyday, all day and all night. I am worried about long term effects for my grandsons, and all other children in the smokey areas. It is also hard on the elderly and of course our pets and livestock, as well as the wildlife. We need a good steady rain for a week, and all would be good.

Now they are predicting dry electrical storms, which is NOT what we need, that is just going to cause more fires!!!
