....in a haystack, lol. But I am trying to find a pincushion pattern in the shape of a wedding gown. Or something small in the shape of a wedding gown to make as a little gift for my friend who is getting married in October. I have been searching through Google, but till now..no results. Please if any of you know of a (pref. free online pattern) help me?????

Or maybe a slice of (wedding) cake sewing pattern, also welcome. I can always embellish it to my, UUUHHH her taste lol

Hi Marian -- What a nice idea! Here's a slice of cake: http://www.embroiderygarden.com/store/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=563

Last summer, I handsewed a little felt dress and stuffed it with lavender for my sisters -- very cute! I'll see if there's something more like a wedding dress for you. . . .

Hi Dutchy,

I might have something that you might be able to use. It's a simplicity pattern for 11 1/2 inch doll clothing. One of the patterns is for a very pretty wedding dress. I tried to look it up on Simplicity so that you could see a picture of it, but it looks like they no longer sell it. They do have it on ebay, though. It is Simplicity 11 1/2 doll clothes and the number is 5800--you can see what it looks like there. Let me know if you want it. If so, I will get it right out to you.
Take care,
Marcy

Hi Dutchy,

What about this dress form/mannequin pin cushion pattern?

http://www.getcreativeshow.com/seminars/dressform_pincushion.htm

You could do the the dress form portion in a white on white fabric and then add a skirt with tulle and whatnot!

Would love to send it to you. I see that you also love Marie Antoinette. I have a book about her called the Hidden Diaries of Marie Antoinette by Carolly Erickson. You can look it up on Amazon.com. If you want it, I will put that in as well.
Take care,
Marcy
