Editor Jennifer Bové is seeking stories for her 3rd anthology,
Wild With Child: Adventures of Families in the Field.
If you've “roughed it” outdoors with kids in tow (or in the lead!), and you'd like to write about your adventures, please go to www.bovesboots.blogspot.com to learn more about submitting a story.

Thanks, Catherine!
Rita is now 5, Sophie is 3, and surprise baby #3 is on the way in July - a boy!! Parenting certainly is an adventure in itself...

I have to send my best friend to your blog....she lived in a yert with her 2 year old and cooked on a wood stove in the middle of nowhere (remote country in Oregon)for year or so. Her husband worked for the forest service and took the only car they owned to work everyday. Although she'd never do it again, the experience was irreplaceable.

Great picture by the way! :)

Hi Jen! I am so excited to read your book and hopefully will one day have something to contribute! We have a one year old and would like to take her camping this summer. We are headed to Montana for two weeks and our plan is to camp in the backyard before we head out as a "trial run." Any advice you'd like to share?
Thanks and Happy Adventuring!
