I have had so much good fortune in the canning department this year. I made 21 quarts of Pickles over the weekend. Still need to make some Salsa and Ketchup and I'll be done.

How did the rest of you do?

On Sunday I did 35 quarts of peaches, 5 pints of peach jam and 6 quarts of tomato sauce. Last night I did 7 pints of peach jam and when I get home from work today it will be to wrestle with more tomatoes. I plan to can some pears in the next week or 2. I am still trying to decide if I want to make saurkraut. How's everyone else doing?

Just finished several batches of peach pie filling for the freezer and then made some peach vinegar from the peels and the pits. It is such a sparkly pretty pink color that is cheers me up every time I open my fridge.

Wow, Laila are you amazingly productive! I thought we were so good to have put up 42 quarts of tomatoes last week and five quarts of dilly beans. My fruit trees are only two years old but we still got quite a few red bartletts this year.
