I was just wondering who the four women are that grace the homepage of this forum? They look like an interesting bunch and the woman on the right hand end looks so much like my mom when she was a young woman....

The first few pages of MJ's idea book shows all the ladies and a bit about the land army during WWII. That does not help tell you who they are but if you have the book you can see the ladies in a bigger picture :-) Karen
