The book is called 41st Division in the Southwest Pacific~A foot soldiers story by-------Francis B. Catanzaro
I have begun taking oral histories from one of the residents at the Harbors where I am working part-time. I know a little about the Pacific theater. I would love to either exchange a book from my library or just "borrow" this one and return when I am finished reading it.
Melody I bet if you contact your library they will find the book for you and reserve it when it comes in. I know my library does that here. They then send me an email when the book becomes available. I can order online even for reservations. That might help you.
Melody, I'm an ebay junkie and checked on there for the book. They have one for $6.15 which includes the shipping. If your local library cannot get it this could be an option.
