We have gotten rain almost every day this week in SW Louisiana.
Yesterday and today the rain was heavy with lots of thunder and lightening.
We are expected to have a dry weekend with NO rain.

Here in Ga, thay have been saying we will get rain but none yet.

We got a smidgen of rain this morning and I wish we had more. Its sounds like you have had enough for a while.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Please , please , please send it my way, I have not had any rain for a couple of months or more, its getting scary , especialy when we have had extreme heat all summer.

I saw a piece on the local news about how the farmers are out of work in Ca. because of the water shortage and the little fish or whatever that is being protected. Hope you get some rain soon!
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Yes, we had rain almost every day this week. The rain was accompanied by thunder. My Ragdoll cat, Gracie, has been in hiding all week. In fact for Sat., Sun., and Mon. mornings we are supposed to be like around 68 degrees. Now that is super nice for Louisiana in August. Hopefully the cooler weather will keep the darn hurricane away from us for a long time.
Teresa: I will go outside and demand the rain to go West. LOL I do hope CA gets lots of rain soon.

Karen, we had rain every day here in N. Ga. Not all day but somewhere around us had rain every day. And it rained last night, too. Today has a fallish feel to it. Lots of the most beautiful clouds all around lately. Last night the whole sky was so red. It was still like that at 8:30. Weird. But so pretty. I love all the big huge white clouds. But I am ready to til the garden now and plant. I'm going out and pull weeds and rake up goat poop.

Wow I guess the rain is just skipping all around my little ole town. We did get a drop or two last night finally but it really didnt even get the ground wet so I dont think that will count. There has been a good breeze here today but still quite warm. I am so looking forward to those fall temps! Teresa, Im praying you get rain too. Blessings,Karen
