Ok gals I have a tough job staring me in the face. Some friends of mine are having some- well alot of remodeling work done to their house. They called me the other day to see if I can get them cleaned up and put back together. I went to see their home the other day even though the drywallers are not finished. Boy did those guys make a mess! They did not lay a drop cloth down so there is drywall mud and dust ground into my friend's beautiful (once beautiful) hardwood floors. I told my friend that I will try my best to save her floors. But she wants the remodel and the organization and cleaning done by mid-October! HELP!!!
Do any of you have any ideas to get this up off the floors without causing major damage to the floor? I have some ideas but I'm afraid they could be very time consuming.
Thanks~ Melanie

That's kind of what I was thinking. I'm just worried about the time factor. hopefully those construction guys will get their rumps in gear and get the job done so I can get mine done before October gets here.
