ok we show miniature horses. When we prep them for a show class we rub something like "baby oil gel" to ad a bit of a sheen on there muzzles and above there eyes. It helps define facial features. They sometimes get a bit of black chalk under that sheen depending on the color of the horse. Well last time, our little ones rubbed their little noses on my new suede show jacket which now shows lots of oil base stains and marks. I've gotten some off but not much. Would anyone have any help at all? The jacket is ruined if I can't figure out something thanks for any help Anne

Try laying the jacket down and puting a mound of cornmeal on the spot, and leaving it for 24 hours or so, when you see that the cornmeal is getting darker, ( its soaking up the oil), dump it off, lightly brush with a suede brush and check results, you might have to repeat a few times.

1badmamawolf. I can't THANK YOU enough! A big Farmgirl HEEhaw I worked with a cleaner I had here that is for oily greasy stuff and let it sit with the corn meal on it, and though it's not perfect the jacket is wearable! at least for the last horse show, then I will have to take it to a "cleaners" I suppose but after this I wore it with one of my favorite yearling fillies and she placed Reserve Grand Champion Mare! I need to wear it this weekend for our last show yet, wish us luck and again THANK YOU!

I am so glad it worked for you, I have gotten motor oil out of leather with corn meal,( leatherchaps ), also out of suede when I got salad oil on it, sometimes it takes a while and multiple brushing and piles, but its always worked for me. Maybe, just maybe that slight spot that is still there, is your good luck spot, lol.
