I got the same thing Marybeth. There are goblins in the computer today I think. I posted earlier today and when I submitted the reply, it said (and still says) that it was Gabe's post! Di |

If you hit refresh (however many times it takes), the pictures should download themselves appropriately. (Our home page is composed entirely of images: I updated them recently.)
I don't know why that happens, but it often does after I update the images on a page, whether their size or name or something. I mostly only see it in Firefox and don't see the problem in Internet Explorer so much (amazingly enough) (that I recall).
Refresh, refresh, refresh. Hopefully I'm more help than Nancy. (It's your day for flack apparently, Nancy.) |

I think it's DaisyFarm's fault.
Turn your computer off and don't use it until you've had it inspected for gremlins. Your computer doesn't happen to be from the '40s, does it? That was the last big period for gremlins. Could be some remnants hanging out in there if it is that old. |

13 tries. Wow. It's never taken that many on mine. I'm sorry. I wondered how many people in the world would see that problem when I see it, and if there's a way to "force" refresh.
Now, Marybeth... it wasn't you that I had to talk with before about using deodorant, was it?
DaisyFarm, there's your problem. You've been looking for goblins, when it's gremlins you need to rat out. Different creatures altogether, with different habits and tastes. Maybe they had to move from your old modem further up into your computer when you upgraded; like trying to keep moving up the beach as the tide comes in to avoid getting wet. Gremlins are picky about what they like to infect, you know.
