Hubby and I decided to hit the Fair and see the sights, right?? So we make our way to the window and the girl brightly said to hubby, "You get the senior discount, right?". Hubby nods yes. Then she looks at ME and says, "You too? You get a senior discount."

I spluttered a second and asked her to make sure she was seeing right and yep, she was.

I got my FIRST senior discount EVER...I don't know whether to be dismayed or to be happy we saved $2!!

Well, seeing as she was offering in a way,why not? I'm getting used to being called "ma'am" since I no longer dye my hair (and have a lot of silver showing) My supervisor at my part time job started getting those discounts without asking as she's developed a lot of silver on top of her head. That resulted in her dying her hair...*laughs* I'd say be happy the Universe gave you both a discount! ;-)

I love getting my senior discount. At this one thrift store I go to on Mondays the clothes are 50% off and if your a senior you get even more off. I got 3 nice pairs of pants, 3 books for gramma and a few household items last week for $8.00 dollars.

Hope all your days are Sunnydays.
