Hi Lucy,

It looks like we are at 55 right now. There are 11 farmgirls signed up. If any more sign up, then more. I too have my 55 done, but we'll have to see if that is where it stays. This was my first time making them and I had a blast. Now to think about what I will make with them. ARGH!!!!!

Have a good day!

Michelle

Decided to change up some of the fabric patterns, so I picked up a few other fabrics. Tried to use up fabric from the 6 1/2 halloween charm swap I just mailed out. Looks like Shannan and I have some of the same tastes.

Those are so cute. Remins me of a yoyo clown I had as a child...all bright and multi colored.

Ohhh, Michelle, those are just darling fabrics! This is such a blast; even tho I must confess that I haven't been working on my yo yo's for a few days. We went to the coast this past weekend for my birthday and to celebrate getting our plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and framing permits all green tagged approved on the new house we have been building up on our hill. I'm going to jump back into my yo yo's tonight! Yippie!

I've almost completed my YoYo's. Just ten more to go! I'm already trying to think up something to make with the after we swap.
Are we all going to share a pic of any projects we do with the yoyo's?

Most of my yoyos are done. Here is a photo I meant to post last week.

This was a great swap Linda. Making these little guys is very relaxing.
Does anyone have any projects in mind for their YoYos??

Kathy,

At the fair this year I saw a "Happy Halloween" fabric wall hanging which had a black background I thought I would try. I'll then place the yoyos around the wording. We'll have to see though. And you??? Any ideas?

Have a good day!

That sounds adorable! I have sewn them together in a garland before..also I added some to a big quilt like shape I made. It is getting big but I can't seem to figure out how to square it up...so it may be "artistically" an unusual shape. It is big enough to hang on the wall...I put like colors together so there is lots of bright orange together from former yoyo swaps.

I was thinking about what I might do with them. I'm not too sure. I could maybe make a small table runner to place a pumpkin on. Or I could use them as ornaments for my Halloween tree!!! That would be a easy project.
I was also thinking a vest could be made with them. Now that is not my style at all, but I bet that would look cute with a black turtle neck.
Or I could do what I did with the other Yo Yo swap, give them away to someone else that has a great project idea.
