I was just wondering how many cell phones have the local police phone number in it?? I have it now only because when I went to report a bike being stolen and realized I didn't have it. I did get the bike, I yelled hey thats my husbands bike put it down. He did and ran away. It wasn't my husbands bike, I just knew it wasn't his.

Hope all your days are Sunnydays.

It is a good idea to have their number in their phone. Another good cell phone tip is in icy weather keep your cell phone in your pocket when you drive. That way if you are in an accident your phone will be where you are, and not thrown about in the car. Good way to get that bike back, Diane!

Diane, Good for you to get that bike back . Fast thinking. I always carry my cell phone. Need to put that number for the police in it. Thanks for the tip.

Good thinking on your feet! I have had to look up phone numbers like that before and it is really hard to find in the phone books today. All of you already know about google information, I love it and put the number on my cell phone, you can get any number free. 1 800-466-4411 It would work for the police too.

i agree with Carol! I was in a car accident once and the only reason i knew where my cell phone was, was because i had just shoved it in my coat pocket. Alot of people dont realise that when your in a car accident everything flies everywhere. Its a good idea to keep your phone in either your coat or jeans
