I lost 100 pounds by doing aquacise and watching my portions. I also cut out sugar for the most part. I have PCOS and am insulin resistant. Getting on a med to help the blood sugar issues helped a great deal.
I still have weight to lose, but I have maintained even as a sahm. I watch portions and go as low carb as possible.
When my son is back at school, I plan to get back to the pool. Its the best exercise for me. I go to the local parks and recs pools so its not expensive.
