Sold it when my kids were little. Got talked into spending a bunch of money to buy product and lost my shirt on it. I did love the make up but my shows went in the dumper. Too many bad bookings that led to other bad bookings. I'd think twice about this right now with the economy how it is.
My friend has had kind of the same problem as Cheryl. She's not doing the parties anymore, but she loves the makeup and has friends like me and family that loves. So she still sells to us. I also don't believe she was making enough to make it worth her time.

P.S. I'm STILL paying on the debt incurred---and it's been 6 years since I gave up the business for sanity!

Melanie~ I've never sold it, but as an avid buyer I'm going to be honest with you. I buy all of my Mary Kay on e-bay. I pay like 1/4 to 1/2 the price listed in the catalog even after shipping. For example....I paid (including shipping) around $32 for my entire Timewise Miracle Set. I think it's listed in the book for like $108 or something. I know that this is something that the consultants are not supposed to do and I'm not even sure a lot of these people are consultants...some have no idea what they are advertising. But so far everything I've bought is brand new in the box and it's worked for me for 2 years!! Hope you can find something right for you!!!
