I am attempting to post a photo for the first time. This is the pinkeep that I sent to Sue. It is actually a pinkeep on top and the pouch section is for snips of thread and scraps as you are working on a project. [IMG]http://i512.photobucket.com

Hmm, it didn't work. Any helpful hints? I thought I followed the directions in Welcome Wagon.

Hi Barb,

I believe you are missing part of the IMG address. Trying clicking once on the IMG Code box that the address is in and click Ctrl C. This will copy the address. Then go to your message and click Ctrl V to paste.

Hope that helps.

Thank-you Cheryl (Tapestry), I love my pinkeep and will treasure her always!!!

You are one talented lady. Girls, I mean to tell you she is really cute...I don't think the picture i took does her justice.

Her name is miss "Halo Prim" of the wisconsin prims of course. She even has safety pin earrings and brooch! and on her back is a thread kit and she is just too cha cha for words!! Thank-you so much.

You're most welcome Aunt Pammy! I had such fun designing and making her or rather letting herself guide me on what she needed to have and look like. I enjoyed this swap so much!

Oh no, don't tell me ya stick pins right in the dolly? That would make me hurt!

I can't see the pincushion...can ya post a bigger pic?

Cari, I am so happy you like them. The smaller one was meant to be yours and in my designing I thought it was too small...so ya also got the trial one too. LOL !

Oh goody! I'll get a new pinkeep and that will inspire me to sew!

I'm sorry Linda, but I can't figure out how to make the pic any bigger. Yes, you can stick pins in the doll but there is a separate cushion that can be detached...it is attached to her belt and hangs off to the side. I don't think I will be sticking pins in the doll as believe it or not but she kinda looks just like me!?! Ouch!!!

Oh Pam, I just got my pin keep in the mail from you and omgosh woman are you and your hubby a couple of talented people!! I absolutely love my pin keep and it has a place of honor on my sewing machine cabinet where it will sit ALWAYS! I just can't believe the time and effort you put into this. I am so touched and just so grateful to have had the opportunity to swap with you. This is my very first pin keep that is something other than the old fashioned tomato kind you can buy in the store and I love, love, love it!!! Thank you so much!!! Aunt Pammy's hubby hand turned the spindle and Pam painted it as well as designing and creating my lovely pumpkin that sits on top of the spindle. The pumpkin is velcroed on the base so I can remove it for easier sewing at my machine. If I sound ecstatic it's cause I am! PLUS, she packed the box full of fiber fill so I got an extra bonus! I'm going to post our swaps so you all can see what we gave each other (hoping this will show a bit bigger).

I am now kinda getting worried :( I KNOW the one I made is not NEARLY as cute, pretty or awesome as the ones shown here!! :(. I just SO hope my swap partner will like it none the less.

A gift from the heart is always loved and appreciated.

Thanks Cheryl for posting the large pics. I just can't get my pictures any bigger.

I am so glad yours came. I was hoping we would get them on the same day. I will show husband your kind words when he gets home from work...he will be tickled. Pretty funny about the fiberfil-it's weightless and recyclible!

Received my pinkeeps from Marjean. One is a large quilted block with vintage buttons. And the other is a ring pinkeep. Just what a fashionable, sewing, farmgirl would wear. I love them Marsha. I have a three day weekend and rain in the forecast, so I will be sewing pinkeeps and aprons. Yea!! Peace to all.
