I have used Goof Off, an adhesive remover, I bought at a hardware store. It works wonders! However, it can fade some fabrics, but I guess that wouldn't matter much on undies. I would avoid getting it on any elastic parts though.

My hubby did laundry ONE TIME, he turned everything PINK, his clothes, mine and the kids, he mixed everything together in one load, and one of the items was a new fire engine red t-shirt, then he tried hideing them, LOL. needless to say, he never lived it down and never HELPED again.
