Okay, I go in cycles where I want a no brainer, easy to read chick-lit book. You know, the ones that showcase the blond bimbos or the crazy story lines, somewhere along the lines of "Confessions of a Shopaholic" series. I'm in the mood for a couple more of these types and am heading to the library this evening so would love some suggestions.
By the way, I read all types of books, so please do not peg me as one of those blond bimbos!! lol

Can't go wrong with the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich! They are funny, quick-reads!

I loved the book The Devil Wears Prada, it was wayyyy better than the movie. I read all different kinds of books too. So I know what you mean by just being in the mood for something light and fun.

I concur with Cherry! I LOVE the Evanovich books. They're one of the few books that m ake me laugh out loud. Of course in public places (like airports) people look at me funny...but oh well. They're so worth it. You don't HAVE to read them in order, but there are a few things that make more sense if you do.

Jan Karon's series on Mitford is wonderful too!

I'll have to try your suggestions! I had checked out "Momzillas" by Jill Kingston and that was a perfect book for my mood. Right now I am working on "I Don't Know How She Does It" by Allison Pearson and can't tell if I like it yet or not. Next time I'm at the library I'll try out all your suggestions! Thanks!

She's great, isn't she?! I soo wish I could be Stephanie Plum sometimes! Her life seems so exciting! And her grandma is too funny! That's who I'd really like to be!
