Hurray for the rain. We finally had a nice rain this afternoon. I could hear all of our plants, grass, trees, just singing in the rain. Now maybe my yard won't look burnt anymore.

We in Sw LA got rain again this afternoon. Not a down pour, but a nice rain. Enough rain that I can't continue mowing. Hope y'all get some ASAP.

It's almost 9:00 here and still 94. Tomorrow is supposed to be cooler with a high of 95. It was 106 at 6:00. I don't think it got this hot in June last year. I can't keep up with the watering.

Sharlet:
Today, Monday, we got another evening rain shower. Of course, I had just began to mow the yard, look up to the north, and the sky was black. Then, I see this huge lightening flash! I parked that mower really fast.
It really has been super hot this June. Like you, I really don't think last June was this hot so early.

Hi Marly,

We didn't get rain today , but it was a little cooler. I think only about 95. We dcided about 7:00 it was cool enough for a pot of coffee and we drank in the garden. It was nice.

Still no rain here in Ga. I keep seeing clouds pop up in the evenings but none have produced any showers in my neck of the woods. My garden sure could use the water.

Karen:
For the last two days, we heard thunder in the evening, the weather in the north was blackish, but no rain. Last week, we had three days or evenings rather, of rain. Our front lawn has huge dead spots. I heard on the weather channel we were supposed to get rain Sunday and Monday. I sure hope so. And, I hope the rain we get heads your way!
