I began a local chapter just today and have several people in mind to join me. I've got lots of ideas about how to invited them, you know, different things like a summer tea, salad supper, cookout, etc. but not sure which direction I'll go.
Those of you who participate in a local chapter, what kinds of things do you do? Philanthropic? Service? Social?

I have been thinking about going berry picking, or doing a knitting circle. One of the girls is going to teach everyone how to do "no sew" rag rugs.

I signed up to start a chapter a couple weeks ago and have been looking for my "kit" to arrive. Does it take a while for it to come? Anyone know? I can't wait to invite some girlfriends over to chat, show them the stuff and decide on our first project!

I want to start a Farm Girl Chapter in my little town also
or
join one nearby.
How do i "see" where there is one in my area??
Also, please post ALL your good ideas
on
how to start a chapter
HOW to Tell others what it is all about . . . to stimulate interest.
