Hello Farmgirl friends...
This has sort of fallin into my lap..I started out by selling my leftovers out of my greenhouse.....Now I have had 2 nurseries ask me to grow plants for them and hanging baskets...But, when do I start baskets for mothers day?, next year?
Help?
Thanks ahead of time for any help...

Hi!
Well, I guess it will depend on what is going into the hanging baskets and how far along you want them to be. I would start a few right now to get a feel for how quickly they will grow to the size you want. . you could always sell them now if they are to big, at least you would have some idea as to what to expect.

Keep us posted on how you are doing with it!

I think this is a fantastic opportunity. At our Spring Farmers Market, hanging baskets were flying out of there like crazy. People love something they can just take home, and hang it up, and it is done. I would encourage you to start early, and have baskets ready for early Spring. They seem to sell right on through Memorial Day. Best wishes to you as you continue to grow your business.
