I talked to Lainey's husband last night and he said that Lainey had a set back. She was eating ice cream, and they found that the place where her throat and tummy were put together has detached. They were deciding what today what their course of acting would be.
I feel so bad, as it seems for every step ahead Lainey gets Satan pushes her back two.
Please be praying!!! :D

I sure do miss her being on here. I will be glad when she is up to par and can chat along with us. :D I know she appreciates your prayers. :)

Poor Lainey :( She's already been through enough to have this happen now. I hope that they're able to get her fixed up so she can heal properly. I'll continue praying for her.

I will be praying for Lainey. This type of thing does happen and I am sure the Dr.'s will fix her up quickly. It is just so hard to be doing so well and then have a set back. May she recover quickly and be on the road to complete recovery quickly.

It's so hard for me to think about Lainey right now, going through whats she's fighting...that's why I haven't posted. At least she's cancer free! She's in my thoughts, I just can't bring it too close to the surface too often. I hope her doctors fix her up right and send her home for good!!!!

Many prayers for Lainey. It must be discouraing to have another thing to have to go through but I hope this is the last of it and that the rest of her recovery goes smoothly.

Any news on Lainey and her condition? Im worried for her even tho' I am pretty sure the doctors are going to be able to fix her problems. Hope she is starting to feel better.

Just wanted to let you all know I'm still in the hospital in the Critical Care Unit (step down unit). I've been in the hospital a total of 15 days now. I'm still in quite a bit of pain but I'm moving around better now that most of my tubes have been removed. We ran into complications last weekend after I ate and drank and it came out of one of my chest drain incisions. I went another week without food or drink by mouth to let things heal. Today I started a liquid diet again, and so far so good. Docs have said unless something else happens I'll get to go home sometime Monday. I have a feeding tube now (J -tube) so I will go home with the supplies for that.
I get really tired easily and can't concentrate a lot. I just wanted you to know I'm loving the prayers, thoughts, cards, and gifts so much. I have the cards lined up in my room. Thank you all so much! I will write more as soon as I can.
