Aloe has always helped for me. I had to start using the low heat glue guns as I am accident prone when it comes to burns and hot things..lol ;) hugs

Melanie...Really? Toothpaste? It's feeling much better after a few hours of the initial burn. I had to pull HOT GLUE off of my finger first and it was sticking....YOUCH! I am such a wimp when it comes to burns I should be ashamed of myself. Thanks for all the ideas. I located some Aloe stuffed away in the medicine cupboard and put a little on that. Tomorrow I am going out to buy myself an Aloe plant!
I know sounds crzy. I was making some No Bake Cookies one day with my son and some of that hot melted chocolate mixture splashed up on my wrist. After rinsing with some cold water I remembered reading somewhere about the toothpaste trick and decided to give it a try. It took the burn out and it didn't really blister, but it did leave a scar.
