We are heading to Vashon Island, in the Puget Sound. It is a memorial/campout for my Uncle Skip, who passed in January. I am excited for my baby to meet his cousins. I have 13 first cousins and all but 2 have kiddos. It is his first time on the ferry, which was always a special and exciting thing in my childhood. My mother from Merlin/Galice, and my sister from Rogue River, Oregon, are also going to be there. It should be a good, healing time.
EVERY FARMGIRL DRIVE SAFE! I alrady ran into crazies this afternoon, heading up our mountain to camp.

| Yard work this a.m. (Saturday) Then fix a couple of salads for tonight. After lunch we'll make the rounds of cemetarys to pay our respects and put flowers. Tonight up to our son's house for fish fry. Tomorrow, depends on weather but at noon, will be in front of the tv watching the race. |

Today and tomorrow (Sat and Sun) we will be branding. Maybe Mon off they say, gather here at our place then brand the next 3-4 days. My time will be spent in the kitchen and truck hauling all the food out.
I don't think we get to many tourists in our area to stay, they just pass through on the interstate and it makes it seem busy.
