I finally got around to getting the photos that I took of my mom and the lovely table that Justin set (and the brunch) for Mother's day. After being such a baby about it, I wanted to show you all what a lovely job he'd done, and how he celebrated me. It was, afterall, not such a "sucky" holiday afterall...
This is my mom (she's adorable!) and the lovely table and brunch that Justin made. That beautiful glowing jar of "purple" on the table is none other than Miss Wilma's concord grape jelly.
The next picture is me and Violet that my mom took--I like that there is a mimosa in view!
So thanks, ladies, again, for all your encouragement and the ability to see "all sides". I felt a bit sorry for myself, and you helped me make the day wonderful by accepting what it "was" and not what it "could be, should be, isn't"....

Thanks! Michelle, I got it in a little thrift store in the Mainstrasse area in Covington, Kentucky last summer. It was $3.00 and had never been used, really. Still somewhat stiff. The little Germanic children are holding little rabbits and baskets of flowers. I have many, but this is one of my favorites!

Those are nice photos, Jonni. Your porch looks nice and Justin did a good job in setting the table. I'm glad the day turned out well for you. You have a good looking family!

I sure am glad your day turned out so good. It takes half an hour for pictures to come up on this dial up and I thought you were talking about a mimosa tree, but no, there's that huge glass right there! It sure does look good. And your mother looks very happy to be there with you and that sweet baby. And you have a wonderful hubby after all. What a guy.

Yep, Kris, we have to settle for the refreshing kind of mimosa's...I'm afraid they're just not into Zone 6 growing seasons! It was soooo good, though..and yep, he's a keeper. I know it :)

3 beautiful girls, a lovely sunny day on a porch, and crystal goblets. Flowers, and linen, homemade jelly.....wow there are so many blessings in these photos, it is incredible. Happy Motherhood to you from now on.
