I sometimes can post pictures and other times it doesn't work.
I am using Gabes "extremely painful technical explanation" but not using Photobucket, so there is just one little paragraph that applies - I cut and paste it every time I use it.
"However, Snitz can't read the standard code for the [ URL ] tag. So, if you want to use other sites, make sure your code is in this format for Snitz:
[ URL="http://<imagewebsite.net/images/yourimage.jpg>" ][ IMG ]<http://imagewebsite.net/images/yourimage.jpg>[ /IMG ][ /URL ]. Do NOT include the spaces or the <>, and the text between the <> should be filled in with your image's specific location and filename. Mainly, note the quotation marks. "
OK, so here's my most recent attempt:
As far as I can tell I followed the instructions - is the graphic too big? Wrong format? It doesn't show up on the post but if I click it, it shows up in another window. WHAT am I doing WRONG????

Perhaps it is the image because I can not get it to work eaither but I am able to paste other pictures.

Hi, brightmeadow:
I've been messing with the image tag in your post, and nothing makes it work. So my suspicion at this point is that the site it's located on won't allow cross-site hosting (meaning they won't allow our site to display the image using their address), because it uses their resources for our site to send a request over to their site to then send the image information back over to show up on our page. That's why the link works though, because then you're actually opening a page ON their site, and viewing it directly.
So, if I post this image to our own servers, then I bet it shows up:
If all your images are from that website, then I don't know why this specific one would be having issues.

And it shows up, so that's likely the answer.
So, brightmeadow, that means you'll have to save the image somewhere else on the web that will allow you to "link" to it from our Chatroom.
(Or for this particular image, you could just link to it now from where I saved it — but just this one time  )
