I love when others post pictures so here's some of mine...just click on my blog and you'll see them...I am SUCH a pack rat but I think when I look at the pictures I can see some things I could get rid of....okay...maybe 1 or 2....how about the dead flowers in the vase and the heart shaped birdhouse could go outside....what's a bird house doing in the dining room anyway?!?!?!? See what I mean?

Thanks gals....the really "nice" stuff is probably what I inherited from my folks and the little grubby stuff is mine...although the Chinese desk is mine and the little red table...well, all of it is mine now but I'd rather have my folks back then inherit all their stuff. I have SO many books they are in every room. The dining room has cookbooks as does the kitchen but there are books everywhere....I do love my books. Let's see your homes! I love to see how others decorate and make their places "home".

Oh how I understand your PASSION for books! I have it too. I simply couldn't LIVE without my books! Oh, and you REEEEAAAALLLY don't want to see MY house.... what a WRECK! (though, that's what happens when you're the ONLY female in the house! (excluding the 7lb Chihuahua.. and the 2 cats!) At this point in time it's a little scary. Guess I better do something about that.... sigh......

PS: LOVE the furniture! -- and I REALLY like your Wallpaper too. It's very nice. Thanks for sharing! ~~~ Tracy

Very nice Sam :) I love how you used the coat/hat rack for baskets. And that Scotty Dog is so cute :) Your chair is beautiful too and the perfect place to relax with a good book and have some quiet time :)

Alee....you don't REALLY think my whole house is picked up like this?!?! Why do you think I QUICK took a picture! LOL! I used to blame the kids but then they grew up and left so now when there's a mess I know it's got to be either the cat or the dog doing it....yah...that's it. I am SUCH a pack rat and I keep bringing things in and not taking things out....I didn't take physics but even I know that something has to give. Oh well...one day, one room at a time....marching on! Thanks for taking the time to look and comment....it motivates me to keep going!
