I wear Casmir by Chopard, Nina by Nina Ricci, and when I want to go a little more natural I wear my Patchouli solid fragrance (the smell is like comfort food for my soul!)

I love anything lavender or vanilla but I believe my signature scent is horse, mixed with a pinch of chicken, cow and goat with just a hint of dirt and sweat from the to top it off!

Does really nasty and sweaty count? I think that's how I smell most of the time in the summer. You all will think I'm crazy, but I wear men's cologne. Domain by Mary Kay. I've had so many compliments on it. Since I couldn't get the hubster to wear it very often, I just started wearing it myself. Smells fantastic. But I only wear it to church or to work. I hate wearing it around the animals because I know how sensitive they are to strong smells. That makes a bottle last a really long time.
The chief source of failure and unhapiness is trading what you want the most for what you want at the moment. |

My signature scent...does shampoo count? I don't really wear perfume or other fragrances. I'm allergic to so many "outdoor" things that many perfumes cause me a problem.

It's "Youth Dew" by Estee Lauder for me. My Grandma wore it, my Ma and Auntie wore it...and I have been wearing it for more than 20 years now. It's spicy....and all my winter sweaters always smell like it. I also like Giorgio....Gio, and have actually been wearing it quite a bit lately. Also love Patchouli....

Right now it's Daisy by Marc Jacobs, but for years I alternated between Laura Ashley, Lauren and Obsession.

Chloe Narcisse, for well over a decade. I have just discovered Hopeless Romantic from Victorian Trading Co. which I love. I still miss Gingham Heartland, which Bath & Body works discontinued in the '90s (sigh)

Usually Isle of Eden's 7 Strawberry Lane scent (www.isleofeden.com-WARNING, VERY ADDICTING!!!), or Lush cosmetics' (www.lush.com) perfumes-they run special fragrance rounds on the forum which I moderate for.

Fragrances: While I was making soap I experimented a lot with essential oils. Peppermint EO is a favorite in soap, and I like it for perking me up in the mornings. For anything businesslike, I wear High John the Conqueror. It's actually morning glory root, and I think the name comes from something vaguely wiccan, but it's still a nice EO, if somewhat powerful. My go-to daily perfume is either Destiny or Pheremone by Marilyn Miglin if I'm going to work. As far as homey scents I love, horse ranks up there as number one. Fresh hay bales stacked in the barn is another high as the scent of a sun drenched goat flank as I lean my cheek against her while milking. marthaellen |

I would have to say almost anything by Victoria's Secret... especially their "Body" line

Oh, its called 'Cleopatra' from Tocca. Oh, I love it, so much. I have never smelt anything like it. Heres the description from the website.... Inspired by the Mediterranean seductress, Tocca’s Cleopatra eau de parfum captivates the senses. Fresh and sparkling grapefruit and lush greens fade into accords of sensual white jasmine and tuberose, leaving an exotic, rich dry down of warm patchouli, golden amber and rich vanilla musk. |

I have a couple that I really love. Allure Sensualle by Chanel, and my boyfriend loves it when I wear Alien, which is made by the same people who make Angel. He swears that is the sexiest fragrance going...... although Playboy magazine voted the sexiest women's fragrance to be Il Bacio by Borghese, which I have and although I don't wear it often, I do really like it, too.

I used to use the Body Shop's Bergamot line. But I haven't been able to find it recentally. So I've moved on to Inis Arose, it's a perfume I picked up in Ireland, but you can get it here too!
Yes I play the spoons, but I do it with perfectly manicured nails... |

I love Dune, I have heard critics say it smells of cat urine. I KNOW what cat urine smells like, and that is not it! Ive been wearing it now for gosh..14 years? I also love sandalwood rose for my handmade perfume balms, and I also like cedar. I cant help it. Love those piney scents.

I love all things that smell fresh and clean. Right now I am using a scent called grass by Gap. I like clean smells.

As a teen I wore Patchouli Musk -which can't be found anymore. Now I've found a Patchouli body lotion by Kiss My Face which is musky and floral with a hint of lavender. Awsome! Very calming. It's strong and lasts all day- even seems to blend with summer sweat! Hee Hee- at least I hope so.... |

Cindy, I love Kiss My Face Patchouli, too. My favorite. I can put it on the night before and forget I have it on and someone will say something about it. It lasts a long time.
