I really just wanted to take this moment to say a big collective "thank you" to each of you.
after my first week of being here on the board i have learned so much and meet many new and wonderful and loving women. I wish I had known that such a nice group of people exsisted sooner.
to me it's like taing a huge sigh of relief.

Oh Karen, me too!
I have just come off a year of self imposed "woman's groups" solitude, and so grateful to have found this forum and these ladies.
I was going to make a little sad post as I believe a good friendship has ended or will end soon, but I kept coming across your topic and realized that so many blessings have come to me in this sea of loss. I am fortunate that I don't have to work, have a husband I am proud of, my mother is deceased and I miss her terribly but I am so proud when people tell me I am just like her , we can't have children but our nieces and nephews are the joy of our lives and give us lots of love, I am estranged from my brothers but my husbands brothers are there for me like my brothers never were.
I guess God is telling me its okay to let this person go.
Sorry I blabbed all over your topic Karen, but thank you everyone!

Hi, I too am glad to have found this supportive and caring place. Merry, way to look on the positive side of life. it's easy to find things to be grateful for if we look isn't it?
