Mom, sis and I are visiting my mom's 3 sisters next week - in our little farm town, not far from the city where we live. These three are in age from 60-75. Youngest is a hard worker at the local hospital, lives on the lake. Middle is in very poor health, works as a home-healthcare worker herself. Oldest is lovely, cares about her appearance, but in very poor health, loves to read. I know I can get her a book and she'll be thrilled. Others - I am in a quandry - I see them once a year, but love them all dearly. They are all simple, in a good way and none with a need or want for useless things. Just wanting to come up with a small rememberance for them and could use any ideas you might have ~

What about some nice lotions or homemade soaps? Things that are useful but can be very pretty and feel like an indulgence.

Maybe you could get her some kind of plant, an easy plant that doesn't need much attention.

both of the other ideas are great.....what about baking each of them a loaf of banana bread, or something like that? and wrapping them up with pretty ribbon (and maybe a few silk flowers). i know many older people still love home-made food but are too tired to make it themselves anymore.

yes, Time, a most precious gift, will be given...

An apron is also a good thought.

And the meal has crossed my mind, as it is what I do best -

Thank you!
