OK, what is this really called? White ware doesn't sound right. Anyway I got a new piece yesterday at the thrift. Its the first piece I have found that isn't a pitcher. I have seen a few platters but they had cracks in them.
Windy and rain here today. After soft ball practice tomorrow we are going to spend the weekend with my Aunt Glenda. She wants to get some outside plants, and who knows what else, she is 94 and keeps us running when we go to visit her.

Nancy-
I believe it is called Ironstone. I love it and is pretty hard to find around here in the mid-west. I love to collect it- mostly off of ebay. But I search High and Low for it at estate sales, auctions, yard sales and the thrift stores! You have wonderful pieces!!

I like the white. I have some small pitchers--I call them pourers--in the white. My mother gave them to me. Have fun at Aunt Glenda's. she will keep you busy. MB

Ironstone looks beautiful when grouped together as a collection, in a cupboard or shelves. Very nice!
