I'm a fan, even though I haven't yet adopted most of FlyLady's routines. Still, the principles underlying them are working for me, bit by bit. You see, I'm a perfectionist who's slowly learning only to allow myself to be that way in very specific cases. I can't indulge that streak anymore -- it's too exhausting & discouraging. Instead, when I tackle a task (say, cleaning the kitchen floor), I can tell myself: It's not a great job, it may not even be good, ... but it's better! At 54, I need that grace of being okay with myself.
I forgot the 15-min idea a few weeks ago, & gave myself a bad case of heat-exhaustion from overdoing stuff in the garden. It wipes me out for the rest of the day.
Well, have to go off to a part-time job. Since I accomplished a 20-min or so freezer clean-out yesterday, I'll try to whip my fridge into shape when I get back tonight. Since I've done that once a month or so now, it's a fairly quick task.
