DOes anyone else have leg or arm aches when they lay down? It feels like restless leg syndrome, but it is in my arms too. Like they are aching like crazy. I was up well after 3am this morning just trying to rest.
What in the world makes this happen and does anyone else feel it to??
hugs

Try drinking a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in a 8 ounce glass of ice cold water 2x a day. Add honey if you don't like the flavor. Braggs Organic ACV is the best tasting.

Also try doing Pilates or yoga. The stretches will help you quite a bit. My aches and restless legs stopped when I started doing this a few years ago. If it doesn't help or gets worse you should see your doctor.

Jessie You can have restless leg syndrome in any part of the body, my fingers and toes are often affected. I have found that extra calcium helps, something that my doctor recommended was to chew a couple of Tums as they have calcium. Hope you find some relief.

Thanks girls! I am going to try these tonight. I didn't know you could have restless leg syndrome anywhere. Do you have to do anything in particular to bring it on? My whole left side and my right calf seemed to get the hits last night. i may be takng a nap soon...hehe

Hey Jessie, another thing that might help, has decreased my fibromyalgia pain somewhat, is magnesium supplementation. too much can cause diarrhea, but if you get it from food it doesn't do that. Nettle infusion, one ounce of nettles in a quart of boiling water steeped for at least 4 hrs. has tons of calcium, magnesium and tons of other stuff. Check out Susan Weeds website, she has lots of info about using herbs. good luck. Phyllis

Jessie I have found that stress brings it on sometimes, well alot of times, but the lack of calcium is the biggie for me. Another teller of low calcium is strange feelings on the face, kind of like and itch but not an itch. Found this out from an Endocronologist when I had my paratyhroid glands removed. She is also the one that informed me about the calcium restless leg connection. Sure hope you get some rest!!!

Thanks girls!! :)
Kathy--Its been crazy stressful around here with my sister's bridal shower, dramas, and other day to day life. I tried some calcium that seemed to help. I know just what you mean about the itchy face thing. It gets like that when Ive had a lot of sugar or the day is particularly stressful. Slept well last night and hoping for the same tomorrow..hehe

Jessie,
My Dr recommends every woman take vitamin D and Calcium. I have added magnesium and zinc as well.. Tums have calcium , be sure to get the kind that disolves (Calcium bicarbonate is best). Also take a bath with Sea Salts,or Epsom salts and Stretches help too..
