In honor of National Wear Your Apron Day, I thought it would be fun if we all posted pics of ourselves in our favorite aprons. :)

I believe it is May 14. Though I also read that it is the monday after Mother's Day, which for this year would be May 11.
One year I even flew one of my aprons under the American flag we have. Another year, as I have several aprons, changed them out during the day. I just bought some fabric for 2 new aprons, maybe I should get them done to wear this year.
For tomorrow and its needs I do not pray, but keep me, guide me, love me, Lord just for today.

These are pictures of my favorite apron. I realized once I went looking for it, I don't have any of me in it, but I do have these.It's my special one, so I don't wear it for everyday. :D

Thanks for the right date Jessie. I just bought 5 pieces of fabric for aprons, of course. A lady in town bought the inventory of a quilt shop. She is selling all the fabric for $5 a yard. A lot of it is reproduction fabric. My favorite. Maybe I can get one made up for Apron day.

I would love to see it when you finish it, Julia. I love making aprons. You can use them right away or embellish them and make the sewing last longer, but the pretties are worth it. :)

I have a basket full of aprons, but have one I wear most of the time. I do have a canning apron that my mom made for me many moons ago. I love wearing my aprons and love giving them as gifts too. They make a great hostess gift.
