congratualtions! the hardest part about making soap is waiting for it. even the kids have to peep in every couple days to see if its all set.

Congrats, Mary! Making soap is something that I want to do so badly. I am a big chicken when it comes to working with lye. I will get around to it some day.

Mary - it's always so much fun when the soap is ready! Especially when it's your first batch. I'm like that with every batch I make. I can't wait to take it out of the mold and cut it to see how it turned out. Please share pictures! What scent did you do?

Congrats Mary! I agree with everyone else! Its hard to wait! My husband laughs at me because I count the minutes until I can cut it and see how it turned out! Especially when I'm trying something new.
Bravo!

Ok after reading this I think I might try soap again.
