I was dusting down stairs in the sewing room and thought these things looked like they deserved a picture. I have to remember when I'm out and about to look for more "Beatrix Potter" things, I was reminded when I was looking at these how cute they are. I have been reading that book that came today, "People and their Quilts".Its really interesting. A lot of these families had more then ten children, and how they saved every bit and piece of anything to make quilts, not to look pretty but to keep warm. The author goes around and visits with lots of different women and they tell their stories. I love the pictures.

Lovely things as always. I love Beatrix Potter. She is a favorite. Did you see the movie 'Miss Potter?' It's about her life and it is so good. I just recenty picked up a biography on her and I think that I am going to pick up her entire collection in book form as they have a lovely collectors hard cover edition with all of her published works and some that were not published as well all in one volume. Thanks for sharing and take care.

Ooh I saw that movie at Mom's. It was very well done and so pretty! Wouldn't you just love to be able to spend the day in her little cottage and watch the animals and gardens around you. What a gift she had and so thankfully she shared it with us all. The children have a little box set of her books. I hope when they get older than they can appreciate the pretty and sweet things that her little books represent.:) Thanks for sharing, Nancy Jo! hugs

I love Beatrix Potter! LOve,LOve,LOve- my youngest daughter's nursery was going to be themed after Peter Rabbit- but I never could find anything I liked- it seemed like it was all for little boys- of course when she was 3 or 4 I started finding ALL sorts of girl things- but- oh well-

I love the Beatrice Potter collection. I have 3 boys though so I never could decorate their rooms with it.
